If you require a translation of an official document, for example, a document issued by a government institution, such as a town hall or municipality, the registry office, the Department of Education, the Immigration and Naturalisation Department* or the Chamber of Commerce, it is highly likely that you will require a sworn translation.
Only sworn translators are qualified to issue sworn translations. In the Netherlands, translators are sworn in by a court, and they must be registered in the Register of Sworn Translators and Interpreters*. Daniela Navarrete’s signature is registered with the Court of Amsterdam.
Sworn translations sometimes require an apostille to certify that the translation is legally valid abroad.
